Islamabad, November 07, 2025 – The Europe Today: On November 6, 2025, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Pakistan, Mr. A. Movlamov, held a meeting with the High Commissioner-designate of the Republic of Mauritius to Pakistan, Mr. Munsoo Kurrimbaccus, at the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Islamabad.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on the regional situation and matters of mutual interest. Ambassador Movlamov emphasized Turkmenistan’s peace-loving policy of Permanent Neutrality, aimed at fostering mutual trust, maintaining stability, and promoting mutually beneficial cooperation among nations. He also highlighted the important role of the United Nations Regional Centre for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia, headquartered in Ashgabat, in advancing dialogue, peaceful dispute resolution, and confidence-building measures across the region.
Both sides discussed the current state and future prospects of bilateral relations between Turkmenistan and Mauritius, reaffirming their commitment to further strengthen cooperation in the political, economic, and humanitarian spheres.
In conclusion, Ambassador Movlamov extended his best wishes to High Commissioner-designate Kurrimbaccus for success in his diplomatic mission to Pakistan, expressing confidence that the friendly relations and mutual understanding between Turkmenistan and Mauritius will continue to grow and deepen in the years ahead.
