Ankara, January 06, 2024, The Europe Today: An international scientific conference, dedicated to declaring 2024 as the year of “The Fount of the Mind of Magtymguly Fragi” in Turkmenistan, took place in Ankara, as reported by the press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry.
Organized by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Turkey, Ankara University of Social Sciences, and the Union of Engineers and Architects of the Turkic World, the event drew the participation of diplomats, public figures, scientists, and journalists.
Attendees lauded the creative legacy of Magtymguly Fragi, a prominent Eastern thinker and poet. The announcement of 2024 as a year in his honor by TURKSOY, along with the inclusion of this anniversary in the UNESCO List of Memorial Dates, signifies the global acknowledgment of Magtymguly’s profound contributions to literature and thought.
