Manama, January 07, 2024, The Europe Today: Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, has affirmed the kingdom’s keenness to strengthen constructive cooperation and relations with China across various fields to achieve the aspirations of the two peoples.
While meeting here today Ni Ruchi, the Chinese Ambassador to Bahrain, Al Musallam highlighted the Bahraini-Chinese parliamentary desire to open up new horizons of coordination and understanding through enhancing bilateral relations in various developmental and vital sectors, as well as increasing trade, investment and economic exchange, in addition to launching joint initiatives and projects in the fields of culture, tourism and education.
Speaker Al Musallam reviewed with the envoy the latest regional and global developments, in addition to issues of common interest. He also appreciated the ongoing fruitful cooperation between Bahrain and China.
Ambassador Ni Ruchi praised Bahrain’s interest in bolstering its cooperation with his country, commending the efforts made by the Council of Representatives to develop bilateral relations.
