Islamabad, February 16, 2024, The Europe Today: Pakistan’s Federal Cabinet has granted approval for Indonesia’s Batik Air to commence operations in the country, fostering stronger bilateral ties, reported by The Gulf Observer.
During a recent cabinet meeting led by Pakistan’s Prime Minister Kakar, the official carrier status was bestowed upon Batik Air, based on a proposal put forth by the Ministry of Aviation. The airline is now authorized to operate seven weekly flights, with a particular focus on major cities like Karachi and Lahore.
