Beijing, March 27, 2024, The Europe Today: Chinese President Xi Jinping engaged in discussions with Sri Lankan Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena during their meeting in Beijing on Wednesday.
President Xi underscored the longstanding friendship between China and Sri Lanka, emphasizing the deep-rooted historical ties and the natural affinity shared between the two nations. He emphasized that strengthening and advancing bilateral relations between China and Sri Lanka not only aligns with the fundamental interests of both countries but also reflects the shared aspirations of their respective peoples.
