Samarkand, May 11, 2024, The Europe Today: The forthcoming Asian Women’s Forum, slated for May 13-14 in the historic city of Samarkand, is poised to convene a diverse array of stakeholders to deliberate on the theme of “Regional Approach to Women’s Economic, Social, and Political Rights and Empowerment.” The initiative to reschedule the event was championed by the President of Uzbekistan during the 78th session of the UN General Assembly.
Representatives from various sectors spanning East Asia, Southeast Asia, South Asia, and Central Asia will converge in Samarkand.
