Beijing, May 21, 2024, The Europe Today: Chinese comedy “The Last Frenzy” continued to lead the daily box office charts in the Chinese mainland on Monday, according to data from the China Movie Data Information Network.
The film, which delves into life’s choices in the face of death, earned 24.84 million yuan (approximately 3.50 million U.S. dollars) on its 20th day of release.
Following “The Last Frenzy” was the action crime thriller “Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In,” which secured 17.05 million yuan in daily box office sales. The romance film “18×2 Beyond Youthful Days” ranked third with a daily revenue of 16.08 million yuan.
On Monday, the total box office revenue in the Chinese mainland reached 92.19 million yuan.
