Budapest, May 21, 2024, The Europe Today: Kazakh boxers demonstrated outstanding performance at the 73rd Gergely Bornemissza Memorial Junior and Youth International Boxing Tournament, held in Hungary, clinching two gold medals and one silver, according to Sports.kz.
Nurassyl Ongarbay emerged victorious in the men’s 54 kg finals, defeating Slovakia’s Kristian Garasnik. In the 80+ kg category, Daulet Tuleugaliyev claimed gold by overcoming Ukraine’s Josip Kozakevich in a compelling final bout.
Additionally, Amir Ramazan secured a silver medal in the 60 kg weight category, showcasing the strength and skill of Kazakh boxers on the international stage. These achievements underscore Kazakhstan’s growing prominence in the world of boxing.
