The 23-year-old Zhukayev, currently ranked 208th in the ATP Singles Rankings, overcame the challenge posed by Jurij Rodionov, who holds the 154th position. This victory marks a significant achievement for Zhukayev as he continues to advance through the qualifying rounds.
