Tashkent, June 30, 2024, The Europe Today: At the invitation of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres will make an official visit to Uzbekistan from today, June 30 to July 1, as reported by Uzbek media.
During his visit, high-level negotiations will take place in Tashkent, focusing on the expansion and strengthening of Uzbekistan’s cooperation with the UN and its institutions. Discussions will also cover current global political issues and regional cooperation, with special emphasis on supporting measures to achieve sustainable development goals.
Additionally, the UN Secretary General will visit various industrial and social facilities and participate in bilateral meetings and events.
