Adoption of Reform Resolution

Adoption of Reform Resolution Marks Key Outcome of CPC Central Committee Plenum

Beijing, July 19, 2024, The Europe Today: The adoption of a reform resolution stands as the most significant outcome of the third plenary session of the 20th Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, a senior official announced on Friday.

Tang Fangyu, deputy head of the CPC Central Committee Policy Research Office, highlighted this achievement during a press conference, addressing the guiding principles from the recently concluded plenum.

“The adoption of this reform resolution underscores our commitment to advancing comprehensive and deep reforms across all sectors,” Tang stated. He emphasized the pivotal role the resolution will play in shaping China’s future policies and development strategies.

Tang outlined that the resolution focuses on key areas including economic restructuring, social governance, environmental sustainability, and technological innovation. It aims to address pressing issues and lay the groundwork for sustainable growth and modernization, aligning with the overarching goals of the CPC.

The third plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, held earlier this week, brought together top party officials and leaders to deliberate on critical policy directions and reforms. The plenum’s discussions and the subsequent adoption of the reform resolution are seen as a decisive step in China’s ongoing reform and opening-up process.

Tang also noted that the resolution’s implementation will involve coordinated efforts across various government departments and sectors. “We are committed to ensuring that the principles outlined in this resolution are translated into concrete actions that will benefit the Chinese people and contribute to global stability and prosperity,” he added.

The press conference concluded with Tang reaffirming the CPC’s dedication to pursuing high-quality development and enhancing China’s role on the international stage through these comprehensive reforms.
