Minister Saidov announced the meeting on his official Telegram channel, stating, “We met with Mr. Manfred Hüterer, who was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Germany to Uzbekistan, and received copies of his credentials. We touched on the ever-expanding Uzbek-German bilateral cooperation agenda, strengthening direct partnership between regions, building more economic bridges, and other issues. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan is ready to support the efforts of the Ambassador and the Embassy team to realize the great potential of our relations.”
Ambassador Huterer’s appointment marks the continuation of strong diplomatic ties between Uzbekistan and Germany, following the tenure of Tilo Klinner, who led the German Embassy in Tashkent from 2021 to 2024. As both nations look to further deepen their cooperation, this meeting underscores the commitment to enhancing economic and regional partnerships, fostering a robust bilateral relationship.
