Baku, July 27, 2024, The Europe Today: As part of the 2023-2024 training plan and program of the Military Institute named after Heydar Aliyev, cadets from the Naval Forces faculty are participating in a series of practical classes, according to Azerbaijani media reports.
The cadets first received detailed instructions on proper conduct, safety protocols, and daily routines aboard naval vessels.
During sessions at the main command post, the cadets undertook tasks related to organizing control, preparing warships for navigation and battle, conducting technical and visual surveillance via radar while underway, and establishing signal communications using semaphore flags.
Practical classes held in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea emphasized safety procedures for managing and operating engines in the vessel’s engine compartment.
These practical classes are designed to enhance the theoretical knowledge and practical skills acquired by the cadets, ensuring they are well-prepared for future naval operations.
