Xining, July 27, 2024, The EuropeToday: Today, the book launch ceremony for “Building a Community with Shared Future: A Hope for Mankind,” authored by Khalid Taimur Akram was held at the Hilton Hotel in Xining City, Qinghai Province. The ceremony was jointly organized by the Communication University of China, Beijing, China, and Qinghai Minzu University, Xining, China.
The event was graced by 100 PhD scholars, professors, Chinese government officials, and teaching staff of these two universities, including Professor Wei Haisheng, former Vice President of the Central Research Institute of Party History and Documentation and Member of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference; Professor Li Huailiang, Dean of the Institute for a Community with Shared Future at the Communication University of China; Professor Guan Bingsheng, Dean of the School of Ethnology and Sociology at Qinghai Minzu University; and Mr. Huang Shihe, Secretary of the Party Committee of Qinghai Minzu University.
In his opening speech, Professor Li Huailiang appreciated the dedicated efforts of Ms. Khalid Taimur Akram in authoring a comprehensive book on building a community with a shared future. All attendees expressed their appreciation for the book, which thoroughly covers every aspect of the Chinese governance model and various facets of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).
During his speech, Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram expressed his gratitude to the two important universities in China for honoring his book. He hoped that it would help social sciences and international relations students understand the concept of a community with a shared future and the Belt and Road Initiative.
“Building a Community with Shared Future: A Hope for Mankind” features insightful articles on the concept of a community with a shared future. These articles were published in various national and international media. It highlights the forward-thinking policies advocated by President Xi Jinping, including key initiatives such as the Global Development Initiative (GDI), the Global Civilization Initiative (GCI), and the Global Security Initiative (GSI).
Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram is a well-known expert in international relations, focusing on geo-strategic affairs, the Belt and Road Initiative, and the Eurasian region. His extensive expertise in international relations has significantly impacted fostering strong relationships and promoting mutual understanding among countries.
