Lahore, September 11, 2024, The Europe Today: Today, Lahore College for Women University (LCWU), Lahore has launched a six-month fellowship program for bachelor’s and master’s students with the collaborative partner Pakistan Research Center for a Community with Shared Future (PRCCSF), which was inaugurated by Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram, Executive Director of PRCCSF.. The Honorable Dr. Sumaira Noreen, HOD History Department of Lahore College for Women University (LCWU), Dr Kalsoom Hanif, Coordinator for the Student Fellowship Initiative and Dr. Moneeba Iftikhar, Lecturar at (LCWU), Lahore were also present in this fellowship program. Over 30 students from both undergraduate and graduate programs participated in this fellowship.
The primary focus of this program is to provide students with an in-depth understanding of regional connectivity, the concept of a community with a shared future, and the development of essential soft skills. The students will also get the chance of better understanding of China and the Chinese initiatives for the development of the world. Through assignments and projects, students will have the opportunity to engage with topics directly related to these areas of focus.
Moreover, the written work produced by the students, including articles, will be published in multiple countries, thereby providing them with a global platform to showcase their insights and expertise. The fellowship program also aims to offer participants the chance to take personal ownership of planning and executing projects, providing them with valuable hands-on experience.
In addition to these enriching activities, the fellowship program includes visits to various institutions and interactive sessions with esteemed policy makers and international stakeholders. This well-rounded approach ensures that students have the opportunity to gain practical insight and foster meaningful connections within the field.
