Tajikistan’s First Deputy FM Meets with OSCE Transnational Threats Director in Vienna

Vienna, September 13, 2024 – The Europe Today: Ismatullo Nasredin, the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan, held a meeting on September 11, 2024 with Alena Kupchyna, Director of the OSCE Transnational Threats Department, on the sidelines of his official visit to Vienna.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed prospects for the further development of relations between Tajikistan and the OSCE within the framework of the politico-military dimension. Both parties emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation in addressing transnational security threats and enhancing mutual engagement on issues of regional and international concern.

In addition, Nasredin and Kupchyna exchanged views on the organization of joint events aimed at promoting dialogue and collaboration within this framework. The meeting underscored the shared commitment to advancing security and stability in the region through coordinated efforts.
