Bishkek, September 19, 2024 – The Europe Today: The Ministry of Digital Development of Kyrgyzstan has initiated a public discussion on a draft resolution by the Cabinet of Ministers concerning new instructions for the state registration of civil status acts in the Kyrgyz Republic.
The proposed instructions aim to improve the process of recording and registering civil status acts, which include vital events such as births, marriages, and deaths. The new guidelines seek to enhance the legality and security of the registration process while simplifying the procedures for citizens to obtain and provide civil registration services.
According to the Ministry, the updated instructions are part of a broader effort to modernize the civil registration system in Kyrgyzstan, ensuring it meets international standards and is more accessible to the public.
The Ministry is encouraging active public participation in the discussion, welcoming feedback and suggestions as the draft resolution moves towards final approval by the Cabinet of Ministers.
