New York, September 30, 2024 — The Europe Today: H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE, met with Rubén Ramírez Lezcano, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Paraguay, on the sidelines of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA 79) in New York.
The meeting was attended by Gustavo Villate, Paraguay’s Minister for Information and Communications Technology, and Ambassador Mohamed Abushahab, the UAE’s Permanent Representative to the UN.
During their discussions, the leaders addressed several key topics on the UNGA 79 agenda, emphasizing the importance of bilateral cooperation in areas such as economics, investment, and renewable energy. They also highlighted the significance of collaborative efforts within international organizations and their role in advancing global sustainable development goals.
H.H. Sheikh Abdullah reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to enhancing cooperation with the Republic of Paraguay, aiming to establish a distinguished partnership that aligns with mutual interests and development objectives.
