Dushanbe, October 3, 2024 – The Europe Today: Kazakh judoka Talgat Orynbassar has secured a bronze medal at the 2024 World Judo Juniors Championships, held at the Kasri Tennis arena in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, according to Kazinform News Agency, citing the National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Kazakhstan.
Competing in the men’s 60kg weight division, Orynbassar claimed victory over Nizami Imranov of Azerbaijan to earn the bronze. This marks the first medal for the Kazakh team at this prestigious event.
The National Olympic Committee praised Orynbassar’s performance, highlighting it as a strong start for the Kazakh contingent at the World Judo Juniors Championships.
