Bishkek, October 3, 2024 – The Europe Today: First Deputy Minister Asein Isaev held a significant meeting with Kaha Imnadze, Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for Central Asia and Head of the UN Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia (UNRCCA). The discussions focused on key outcomes from Kyrgyzstan’s participation in the 79th session of the UN General Assembly, led by President Sadyr Japarov.
During the meeting, both parties reviewed the agreements reached during President Japarov’s engagement with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, outlining plans for their implementation. The conversation also covered Imnadze’s briefing for the UN Security Council in July 2024 and the activities of the UNRCCA throughout the year.
Imnadze further announced the upcoming annual meeting of the Deputy Foreign Ministers of Central Asian countries in Tashkent and highlighted preparations for the Second Meeting of the Dialogue of Women Leaders of Central Asia, scheduled to be chaired by Kyrgyzstan in Bishkek on October 3-4.
