Islamabad, October 4, 2024 – The Europe Today: According to the reports of the News Hub Consultants and “The Gulf Observer” the Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim departed Islamabad on Friday after a three-day state visit to Pakistan, which he described as holding “great personal significance.” Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who had warmly welcomed Ibrahim upon his arrival on Wednesday, bid him farewell at the airport, joined by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, federal cabinet members, and senior officials.
Following his visit, Prime Minister Ibrahim expressed satisfaction on his X timeline, highlighting the “productive outcomes” from the engagements. He noted that the meetings with Prime Minister Shehbaz and President Zardari, as well as discussions with industry representatives, covered a broad spectrum of mutual interests and underscored the commitment to deepening bilateral relations.
The visit also saw the signing of three Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) to enhance cooperation in various sectors. A notable agreement included Pakistan’s export of $200 million worth of Halal meat and 100,000 tonnes of Basmati rice to Malaysia.
