Baku, October 19, 2024 – The Europe Today: In line with the 2024 bilateral cooperation plan between the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan and the General Staff of Italy, staff talks were held in Baku to enhance military relations between the two nations, according to News Hub Consultants.
The discussions, hosted by the International Military Cooperation Department of Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry, highlighted the positive impact of growing bilateral relations on military collaboration. Both sides stressed the importance of joint efforts in ensuring regional and international security, particularly given the current global challenges.
Key topics of discussion included the development of Azerbaijan-Italy military ties, with a focus on cooperation in military-technical and military-educational sectors. Both parties reviewed ongoing activities and explored potential areas for deeper collaboration.
The meeting concluded with the signing of protocols aimed at solidifying future cooperation, marking a significant step forward in Azerbaijan-Italy military relations.
