Ashgabat, October 28, 2024 – The Europe Today: Members of the Turkmenistan-Türkiye Interparliamentary Friendship Group met with Mahmut Er, Chairman of the Council of Foreign Economic Relations of Türkiye, to discuss the strengthening of bilateral relations, reported by the News Hub Consultants.
The Turkmen delegation shared insights into Turkmenistan’s domestic and foreign policy, grounded in principles of neutrality, and provided an overview of recent legislative activities undertaken by the national parliament. Both parties expressed satisfaction with the continued growth of Turkmen-Turkish cooperation, emphasizing the enduring friendship and mutual support that underpin their relations.
Discussions highlighted the importance of expanding cooperation across diverse sectors, including trade, investment, energy, transport, urban development, agriculture, and sports. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to deepening multidisciplinary ties to further enhance mutual benefits and foster sustainable development for both nations.
