Abu Dhabi, October 29, 2024 – The Europe Today: Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính of Vietnam met with UAE National Security Advisor and Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi, Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, on October 28 during his official visit to the United Arab Emirates. The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation, with particular emphasis on investment, security, and technology.
PM Chính commended the National Security Advisor’s role in fostering security, social order, and economic development in the UAE, particularly Abu Dhabi. He welcomed UAE investments in Vietnam, expressing hope that Zayed Al Nahyan would encourage UAE corporations and funds to explore large-scale projects in key sectors such as renewable energy, oil and gas, logistics, and materials production.
In addition to economic ties, PM Chính proposed enhanced collaboration in high-tech sectors, information technology, and security, including crime prevention and combating human trafficking. He highlighted Vietnam’s commitment to fostering a favorable environment for UAE investors.
Zayed Al Nahyan acknowledged the importance of the Vietnamese leader’s visit, underscoring the UAE’s commitment to advancing cooperation. As Chairman of G42 Group, specializing in artificial intelligence and cloud computing, he shared aspirations to invest in Vietnam, aiming to boost digital services and technology applications across various sectors in the country.
Both leaders expressed optimism for the future, envisioning new avenues for collaboration that will strengthen Vietnam-UAE relations in the years to come.
