Abu Dhabi, November 8, 2024 – The Europe Today: From November 4 to 7, Turkmenistan showcased its extensive energy capabilities at the international oil and gas exhibition ADIPEC-2024, held in Abu Dhabi. This prominent event annually gathers key players from the global energy industry to address pressing sectoral issues and developments.
The Turkmen national pavilion stood out as a major highlight, featuring a modern exhibit that incorporated VR technology and interactive models of energy deposits. Thousands of visitors were drawn to the innovative blend of advanced technological displays and elements of Turkmen culture, leaving a lasting impression on attendees.
The Turkmen delegation engaged in a series of fruitful discussions with major international firms such as Dragon Oil, ADNOC, Halliburton, and Petronas. These meetings focused on exploring prospects for technological cooperation and joint investment ventures aimed at fostering growth in the energy sector.
In addition, Turkmenistan’s representatives played an active role in the conference’s strategic sessions, which covered key topics such as decarbonization, the use of artificial intelligence in energy production, and the development of environmentally sustainable technologies. Special attention was given to the potential of natural gas as a cleaner energy source in the context of the global energy transition.
