Moscow, November 13, 2024 – The Europe Today: Ambassador of Belarus to Russia Alexander Rogozhnik met with Walid Shiltagh, head of the Arab League (LAS) office in the Russian Federation, to explore the current state and future opportunities for cooperation between Belarus and the LAS, according to the Belarusian diplomatic mission’s press service.
During their discussions, Ambassador Rogozhnik reiterated an invitation for the LAS Secretary General to visit Belarus, emphasizing the country’s commitment to enhancing dialogue with both the Arab League and its member states. He highlighted Belarus’ readiness to share its expertise in agriculture, a critical component in addressing global food security challenges.
The ambassador also underlined the significance of expanding cooperation in education, offering opportunities for increased interaction and knowledge exchange.
Walid Shiltagh affirmed the Arab League’s interest in fostering a constructive partnership with Belarus, indicating a willingness to collaborate across agriculture, education, and other mutually beneficial sectors. This dialogue underscores the commitment of both parties to strengthen their relations and explore areas of shared interest.
