Jakarta, November 13, 2024 – The Europe Today: Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto and United States President Joe Biden have agreed to establish regular comprehensive strategic partnership dialogues between their countries. The two leaders reached this understanding during a bilateral meeting held at the White House in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday, November 12. The decision was announced in a joint statement released by the White House and highlighted by officials in Jakarta on Wednesday.

Prabowo and Biden also celebrated the recent revival of the bipartisan Congressional Friends of Indonesia Caucus, underscoring their anticipation for stronger legislative collaboration to foster deeper dialogue and understanding. In their commitment to broadening the scope of the Indonesia-U.S. relationship, the presidents agreed to intensify dialogue on security issues, addressing both regional and global concerns.
