Lima, November 15, 2024 – The Europe Today: Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto and Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese have agreed to strengthen strategic bilateral cooperation in agriculture, education, and health sectors during a meeting held in Lima, Peru, on Thursday.
President Prabowo emphasized Indonesia’s commitment to fostering its partnership with Australia, describing the country as a “good friend” and expressing enthusiasm for expanded cooperation. “We are keen to bolster collaboration in various fields and look forward to witnessing Australia intensifying its participation in Indonesia’s economy,” Prabowo remarked.
The bilateral meeting, held on the sidelines of the 2024 APEC Summit, provided both leaders with an opportunity to enhance diplomatic relations and strengthen multifaceted cooperation between their nations. Prabowo expressed confidence in the well-established bond between Indonesia and Australia and pledged to further advance their partnership in key sectors.
Prime Minister Albanese praised President Prabowo’s diplomatic efforts during state visits to China and the United States, highlighting Indonesia’s balanced approach to global relations. He expressed optimism for elevating the bilateral relationship, particularly in agriculture, education, and health.
