Beijing, November 16, 2024 – The Europe Today: The Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) inaugurated two major laboratories on Friday aimed at advancing archaeological sciences, cultural heritage protection, and linguistics research. These state-of-the-art facilities will leverage cutting-edge scientific advancements and interdisciplinary approaches to drive innovative research in their respective fields, according to CASS officials.
Additionally, an institute dedicated to collaborative innovation in the study of rare and endangered languages was established under the University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. This new institute will focus on cultivating specialists in fields such as Manchu studies, Turkic studies, and classical texts to preserve and deepen knowledge of rare and historical languages.
