Baku, November 21, 2024 — The Europe Today: Germany is committed to expanding international cooperation to address climate change, Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs Annalena Baerbock stated today at COP29 in Baku, according to media reports.
Highlighting the urgency of climate action, Baerbock emphasized the need for robust mitigation measures and enhanced collaboration in climate finance. “The European Union and Germany are ready to cooperate in the field of climate finance support,” she said. She stressed the importance of leveraging the capabilities of international development banks and engaging the private sector to ensure effective progress.
