Amman, December 15, 2024 – The Europe Today: Saudi Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman met with Jordan’s King Abdullah II on Sunday at Al-Husseiniya Palace in Amman to discuss strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing regional security and stability.
During the meeting, Prince Khalid conveyed the greetings of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman to King Abdullah, expressing their best wishes for the continued progress and prosperity of Jordan and its people. In response, King Abdullah extended his warm regards and appreciation to the Saudi leadership.
The discussions highlighted the deep fraternal ties between Saudi Arabia and Jordan, with both leaders reaffirming their commitment to addressing issues of mutual interest and fostering greater cooperation to achieve peace and stability in the region.
The meeting was attended on the Saudi side by Ambassador to Jordan Naif Al-Sudairy and Director General of the Office of the Minister of Defense Hisham bin Abdulaziz bin Saif. Representing Jordan were Eng. Alaa Arif Batayneh, director of the Office of the King, and Moaz Abdulrahman Al-Zoubi, director of the Political Affairs Department at the Royal Hashemite Court.
This high-level engagement underscores the strong strategic partnership between the two nations as they work together to promote regional harmony and shared prosperity.
