Beijing, December 18, 2024 – The Europe Today: Minister for Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives, Professor Ahsan Iqbal, visited the iSoftStone Information Technology Park on Wednesday to discuss potential areas of cooperation in the information technology sector between Pakistan and China.
The minister, accompanied by a Pakistani delegation, was warmly received by Yin Lu, Vice President of the International Business Department, and Li Chuan, Vice President of Intelligent Electronics at iSoftStone. The visit included a tour of the company’s headquarters and exhibition area, where the delegation was briefed on the company’s cutting-edge products, services, and solutions.
During the visit, Ahsan Iqbal was provided an overview of iSoftStone’s business development efforts in the Middle East and Central Asia. The Pakistani delegation also presented on the integration of technology in the execution of projects under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), showcasing the country’s commitment to leveraging IT for development.
Both sides engaged in discussions about future collaboration in the IT sector, exploring innovative solutions and potential joint ventures. They expressed optimism about developing digital technology products and services that could drive mutual growth.
The Pakistani delegation included Political Counselor Haseeb Gohar, Science and Technology Counselor Khan Muhammad Wazir, and Infrastructure Specialist at the Ministry of Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives Dr. Muzammil Zia.
