Islamabad, January 2, 2025 – The Europe Today: Yesterday, Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram, Executive Director, Pakistan Research Center for a Community with Shared Future (PRCCSF), visited the Research Society of International Law (RSIL) and met with the Honorable Ahmer Bilal Soofi, Former Federal Law Minister and Founder of Research Society of International Law (RSIL), at their Islamabad office.
During the meeting, Mr. Ahmer Bilal Soofi commended Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram for his efforts in enhancing regional connectivity. He emphasized the necessity for closer ties among neighboring countries and underscored the critical role that legal agreements and frameworks can play in facilitating this connectivity. The discussion also included the legal framework surrounding the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), with a focus on the need for a robust legal infrastructure to ensure its successful implementation.
Advocate Raja Muqsit Nawaz Khan, Secretary General of the Board of Experts and Legal Advisor for PRCCSF, as well as the former Additional Secretary of the Supreme Court Bar Association of Pakistan, was also present at the meeting.
Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram presented his book titled “Building a Community with Shared Future: A Hope for Mankind” to Honorable Ahmer Bilal Soofi, who commented on its valuable insights and practical approaches to fostering collaboration among nations.
