Baku, January 16, 2025 – The Europe Today: Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jeyhun Bayramov, expressed serious concerns over Armenia’s large-scale armament amid ongoing peace negotiations during a press briefing following his meeting with Georgian counterpart Maka Botchorishvili.
Bayramov emphasized that while both Azerbaijan and Georgia uphold the principle of territorial integrity, Armenia’s actions demonstrate a lack of adherence to this fundamental principle.
“Despite Armenia’s long-standing occupation policy, Azerbaijan extended a peace proposal to resolve tensions, and progress has been made in recent years,” Bayramov stated, highlighting Azerbaijan’s commitment to advancing peace efforts.
The minister’s remarks reflect Azerbaijan’s continued focus on fostering stability in the region, despite challenges posed by Armenia’s military activities.
