Tashkent, January 31, 2025 – The Europe Today: Uzbekistan’s Minister of Digital Technologies, Sherzod Shermatov, held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Uzbekistan, Mohammad Ali Eskandari, to discuss prospects for bilateral cooperation in the digital sector.
During the meeting, both parties exchanged views on fostering collaboration through experience-sharing, joint projects, and the establishment of effective partnership mechanisms between digital technology companies from both countries.
Particular emphasis was placed on advancing bilateral initiatives to enhance the application of digital technologies, with both sides acknowledging the potential for deeper cooperation in the IT sector. These initiatives are expected to further strengthen digital transformation efforts and technological innovation between Uzbekistan and Iran.
