Ankara, February 15, 2025 – The Europe Today – President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan has announced plans to greet Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto with a grand horse parade during his state visit to Türkiye in April 2025.
“Maybe one thing I can do is to organize a welcome ceremony featuring a horse parade, which I think is a great idea. We will also involve military troops and make other preparations,” President Erdogan stated during a talk show streamed from Jakarta on Friday.
Erdogan expressed his deep admiration for the warm hospitality he received from President Prabowo and the Indonesian public during his visit to Indonesia on February 11-12. He emphasized his commitment to ensuring a memorable reception for Prabowo’s visit to Türkiye.
“I think it is impossible to recreate an atmosphere identical to what I experienced in Indonesia. Nevertheless, I will exert my utmost to provide the best possible welcome,” he remarked.
President Prabowo’s visit to Türkiye will coincide with the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, scheduled for April 11-12, 2025. The forum, themed “Reclaiming Diplomacy in a Fragmented World,” will focus on the role of diplomacy in addressing global conflicts and fostering stability.
President Erdogan confirmed that before attending the forum together, he and President Prabowo would first meet in Ankara.
