Tehran, February 18, 2025 – The Europe Today: Turkmenistan participated in the 3rd Caspian Economic Forum, held on February 17-18, 2025, in Tehran, the capital of Iran. Representatives from Azerbaijan, Iran, Russia, and Kazakhstan also attended the significant event, which was reported by Turkmenistan’s official media.

The forum provided a prominent platform for discussing crucial areas of cooperation among Caspian region countries, including trade, economy, transport, energy, ecology, science, and technology. The thematic sessions focused on strengthening the collaboration between the five Caspian states.

A major highlight of the forum was the expected signing of a final declaration, aimed at formalizing the agreements reached during the event and advancing the development of partnerships between the Caspian nations.

The first Caspian Economic Forum took place on August 12, 2019, in the National Tourist Zone Avaza, marking a significant milestone in regional cooperation. This year’s forum is expected to further strengthen the ties among the participating countries and contribute to the sustainable growth and development of the Caspian region.
