Vienna, March 17, 2025 – The Europe Today: A high-level Chinese business delegation, organized by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), visited Austria from March 13 to 16. This marks the first large-scale Chinese delegation to visit Austria since the establishment of the country’s new government.
During the visit, businesses from both nations engaged in in-depth discussions on key industries, including automobile manufacturing, agriculture, and food processing, resulting in multiple cooperation agreements.
Ren Hongbin, Chairman of CCPIT, held extensive talks with Austrian political and business leaders, as well as representatives from relevant UN agencies. He emphasized China’s commitment to working with all partners to enhance trade collaboration and ensure the stability of global industrial and supply chains.
Austrian business representatives welcomed increased cooperation with China and expressed a strong stance against trade protectionism. They also encouraged more Chinese enterprises to invest in Austria and explore new business opportunities.
