President Putin Extends Eid Al-Fitr Greetings to Russian Muslims

Moscow, March 31, 2025 – The Europe Today: Russian President Vladimir Putin has extended his warm greetings to Russian Muslims on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

“I’m sending you my warmest congratulations on the Eid Al-Fitr holiday. Marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan, this ancient and important holiday symbolizes a quest for spiritual growth, kindness, and compassion,” read Putin’s message, as published on the website of the Central Spiritual Directorate of Muslims of Russia.

According to the statement, reported by TASS, President Putin also acknowledged the significant role of Muslim organizations in Russia’s public and spiritual life. He praised their contribution to charitable, educational, and patriotic initiatives that promote unity and harmony within society.

Additionally, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin also conveyed his greetings to the Muslim community, recognizing the festival’s cultural and religious importance in fostering goodwill and solidarity.
