Indonesia’s Presidential Communication Office Highlights Government Alignment with 1945 Constitution

Jakarta, April 2, 2025 – The Europe Today: The Presidential Communication Office (PCO) emphasized on Monday that the government’s performance should be evaluated based on the four national goals outlined in the Preamble of the 1945 Constitution of Indonesia.

Noudhy Valdryno, the PCO’s deputy for Information Dissemination and Media, addressed reporters and reaffirmed that the government’s initiatives are in line with the Constitution’s objectives. The four goals, as stated in the Preamble, include protecting the nation, promoting public welfare, educating the people, and participating in maintaining world order.

“By referring to the 1945 Constitution, the government’s performance remains on track and aligned with the state objectives mandated by the Constitution,” Valdryno said.

Government Progress Under President Prabowo

Valdryno acknowledged President Prabowo’s ongoing dedication to implementing policies designed to enhance national welfare. He cited various indicators, including improved life expectancy, rising Gross National Income (GNI) per capita, better Program for International Student Assessment (PISA) scores, and Indonesia’s growing role in global affairs, as signs of progress.

“The government, under President Prabowo’s leadership, is on the right path to achieving the state goals as outlined in the 1945 Constitution,” Valdryno remarked.

Key Government Initiatives

In line with the Constitution’s goals, the administration is rolling out a series of policies to ensure long-term welfare and sustainability for the population. These include plans to build three million proper homes, ensure food resilience and independence, and implement the free nutritious meal program (MBG).

Additionally, the government is offering free health check-ups for all citizens, enhancing hospital facilities, and training healthcare professionals to better serve the public.

“The government’s commitment to public welfare is reflected in these initiatives, which aim to improve health and living standards for all Indonesians,” Valdryno added.

Job Creation and Economic Empowerment

The government is also focusing on economic development through the Red and White Village Co-operatives and other projects aimed at creating millions of new job opportunities across the country. These initiatives are expected to provide local communities with the tools and resources to strengthen their economic positions and contribute to national growth.

Valdryno concluded by reiterating that these programs are tangible examples of the government’s efforts to ensure the well-being and prosperity of Indonesia’s people.
