Beijing, April 2, 2025 – The Europe Today: The Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) Eastern Theater Command announced that its ground forces conducted long-range live-fire drills in the East China Sea on Wednesday as part of the “Strait Thunder-2025A” exercise.
The drills focused on precision strikes against simulated targets, including key ports and energy facilities. According to Senior Colonel Shi Yi, spokesperson for the theater command, the exercise successfully achieved its intended objectives.
These live-fire drills are part of the ongoing military training efforts to enhance operational readiness and strengthen defense capabilities in the region.
