Islamabad, April 8, 2025 – The Europe Today: Azerbaijan and Pakistan held high-level discussions on key investment projects and pending Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) during the visit of Azerbaijani Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov to Islamabad on Tuesday.
According to a statement from Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar led the Pakistani delegation in talks with the visiting Azerbaijani delegation headed by Minister Jabbarov.
The discussions focused on advancing bilateral economic cooperation, with both sides reviewing the status of several investment initiatives and MoUs currently under consideration.
Both parties expressed a shared commitment to accelerating the finalization of these agreements in preparation for the upcoming official visit of the President of Azerbaijan to Pakistan.
The meeting reflects growing economic engagement between the two nations and signals a continued effort to deepen strategic and commercial ties across sectors of mutual interest.
