Samarkand, April 23, 2025 – The Europe Today: The National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, arrived in Uzbekistan on April 23 for an official visit aimed at strengthening bilateral relations between the two neighboring countries.

Upon his arrival at the international airport of Samarkand, Berdimuhamedov was warmly received by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The airport was festively adorned with the national flags of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, symbolizing the deep-rooted friendship and mutual respect shared by the two nations.

As outlined in the official visit program, a bilateral meeting between the high-ranking delegations of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan is scheduled to take place.
