Ashgabat, May 3, 2025 – The Europe Today: The International Scientific Conference TESC 2025, dedicated to the environmental dimensions of hydrocarbon extraction, will convene on June 5 in Ashgabat, aligning with the global observance of World Environment Day. The announcement was made by the Turkmen Energy Scientific Conference (TESC).
Jointly organized by Turkmenistan’s state energy concerns Türkmengaz and Türkmennebit, the forum is set to provide an international platform for the exchange of knowledge, presentation of cutting-edge solutions, and advancement of global cooperation in sustainable energy. This year’s conference will be held under the theme “Reliable, Sustainable, Clean Energy,” underscoring Turkmenistan’s commitment to an environmentally responsible energy future.
Invitations have been extended to leading international organizations, including the United Nations, the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), the World Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF), the International Energy Agency (IEA), and the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA).
The conference will bring together a wide spectrum of participants, including government officials, scientific experts, industry executives, and environmental advocates, to formulate concrete measures aimed at mitigating the environmental impact of hydrocarbon production and promoting sustainable practices.
TESC 2025 builds on the momentum of last year’s event, which brought together over 250 delegates from 31 countries, highlighting the growing international interest in collaborative approaches to energy and environmental challenges.
