Ashgabat, May 28, 2025 – The Europe Today: President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has extended heartfelt congratulations to President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and the Azerbaijani people on the occasion of the country’s Independence Day, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan (TDH) reported.
In his congratulatory message, President Berdimuhamedov emphasized the strength of the bilateral ties between Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan, which are grounded in the principles of good neighborliness, friendship, and mutual understanding. He expressed confidence that these fraternal relations would continue to develop dynamically for the benefit of the bright future of both nations.
“We are convinced that the fraternal relations between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Azerbaijan, based on the principles of good neighborliness, friendship and mutual understanding, will continue to develop dynamically for the benefit of the bright future of our peoples,” the message read.
The Turkmen leader also conveyed his sincere wishes to President Ilham Aliyev for good health, happiness, and continued success in his state activities. He further extended his best wishes for peace, well-being, and prosperity to the brotherly people of Azerbaijan.
