Baku, May 30, 2025 – The Europe Today: Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, held a meeting with U.S. Senator Steve Daines, a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, during the senator’s visit to Baku.
The meeting focused on the current state and future prospects of Azerbaijan–United States relations, highlighting the importance of interparliamentary cooperation and continued dialogue. Both parties acknowledged the value of strengthening bilateral ties across political, economic, and security domains.
Minister Bayramov provided an overview of the latest developments in the South Caucasus region, particularly in the context of the post-conflict situation. He briefed Senator Daines on Azerbaijan’s efforts in the normalization process with Armenia and outlined the existing challenges that remain in achieving lasting peace and regional stability.
Discussions also covered regional security dynamics, cooperation within multilateral frameworks, and shared interests in addressing global and regional issues.
The meeting concluded with a mutual commitment to further enhancing bilateral cooperation and maintaining open channels of communication on issues of mutual concern.
