Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Holds Telephone Conversation with Pakistani Foreign Minister

Baku, June 1, 2025 – The Europe Today: Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jeyhun Bayramov, held a telephone conversation on May 31 with Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, to discuss bilateral and multilateral cooperation within the framework of the two countries’ strategic partnership.

During the call, both sides reviewed the positive trajectory of Azerbaijan-Pakistan relations, commending the increasing frequency of high-level reciprocal visits, which continue to strengthen political, economic, and diplomatic ties between the two nations.

The ministers also discussed preparations for the upcoming Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Summit, scheduled to be held in Baku in July 2025, highlighting the importance of regional economic integration and shared development goals.

In addition to the summit, the conversation covered a range of bilateral and regional issues of mutual concern, with both ministers reaffirming their commitment to deepening cooperation on the international stage and supporting each other in regional and multilateral platforms.

The discussion underscored the strong and enduring friendship between Azerbaijan and Pakistan, built on mutual trust, shared interests, and a common vision for regional stability and prosperity.
