Islamabad, June 7, 2025 – The Europe Today: His Excellency Rehmat Hindiarta, Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Islamabad, along with other embassy staff members, offered the Eid-ul-Azha prayer at the iconic Faisal Mosque in Islamabad.
The gathering reflected the spirit of unity and reverence on this significant Islamic occasion, as diplomats and worshippers from various backgrounds came together to mark the festival with prayers and reflections.
The participation of the Indonesian delegation at one of Pakistan’s most revered religious sites signifies the deep cultural and religious ties between Indonesia and Pakistan, as well as the continued engagement of the Indonesian diplomatic mission with the local community.
Eid-ul-Azha, also known as the Festival of Sacrifice, commemorates the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) to sacrifice in obedience to divine command and is marked by prayers, charity, and reflection by Muslims worldwide.
