Islamabad, June 26, 2025 — The Europe Today: The Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria to Pakistan, H.E. Mrs. Irena Gancheva, held a productive meeting with Ambassador Ahmad Hussain Dayo, Director General of the Foreign Service Academy in Islamabad, to explore avenues for enhanced collaboration in diplomatic training and capacity-building.
This important engagement comes as Bulgaria and Pakistan commemorate 60 years of diplomatic relations, symbolizing a shared commitment to dialogue, mutual learning, and the further strengthening of bilateral ties.
During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on promoting cooperation between the diplomatic institutions of the two countries. They emphasized the importance of developing new initiatives for training programs, knowledge exchange, and capacity-building to prepare future diplomats for evolving global challenges.
Ambassador Irena Gancheva expressed satisfaction over the positive trajectory of Bulgaria-Pakistan relations and underscored Bulgaria’s interest in fostering partnerships in education and diplomacy.
