Islamabad, June 26, 2025 – The Europe Today: His Excellency Ambassador Dato’ Azhar Mazlan, High Commissioner of Malaysia to Pakistan, received a courtesy call on Tuesday from a delegation of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI), led by Senior Vice President Mr. Abdul Rahman Siddiqui.
The delegation briefed the High Commissioner on the ongoing preparations for the upcoming Business Opportunity Conference (BOC), scheduled to be held in Kuala Lumpur on 14 August 2025. Discussions during the meeting focused on the proposed arrangements and expected outcomes of the conference, including engagements with key Malaysian stakeholders and visits to selected industrial zones and states.
ICCI informed that the BOC will bring together over 100 Pakistani business representatives from diverse sectors, with the aim of enhancing bilateral economic cooperation between Pakistan and Malaysia. The event will include business-to-business (B2B) meetings and matchmaking sessions with Malaysian companies, facilitating partnerships and investment prospects. The previous BOC was successfully held in 2019 at the Marriott Hotel in Kuala Lumpur.
Ambassador Mazlan welcomed the initiative and commended ICCI’s efforts in fostering economic linkages. He assured the delegation of the High Commission’s support in facilitating the conference and conveyed his best wishes for the successful organisation and execution of the upcoming BOC.
